Im a big fan of comics and one of my favorite comic artists is Jim Lee.

I found a sketch of his that i wanted to turn into a digital painting for fun.

Overcast days have there uses.

I woke up this moring to an overcast day here in guildford a perfect chance to take my paintings outside and get a few better pictures....

You get a nice even light on days like this perect for photos like this. Same rule applies when photgraphing things for texturmaps wait for an overcast day dont shoot in direct sunlight.

so the last couple of evening i have been working on this painting done from photo reference.

Oil on canvas.

Two sessions in not finished but moving in the right direction. I think one more session and it will be done.

Ok no new picture today just added some more work into the work from my previous post.

Trying to get used to colorising in photoshop again....
